This fellow was waiting next to the warming hut by the Murtle River. Although the humans tried to engage him in conversation, his response seemed cool and he never said a thing. When invited inside, he remained frozen in place. There was once a man in red who had a similar cold demeanor. Perhaps it is the way of these winter people.
Later that day, he was standing outside of our cabin! Despite wearing a clever disguise, he was recognizable due to a small freckle on his cheek. He is standing there still; not speaking or moving, but belonging. And he has what he needs.
