happy days

Here are my humans and the kids that I'm always talking about. When they're not on the shelf, they're full of coffee, tea or mocha.

I got my fur cut off at the "spa". They cut off my toe nails and dug around in my ears. I feel like a brand new pup!

no leash for me, yahoo!

I found these yummy looking treats along the trail. They are left behind by the Easter moose and the Easter deer....no bunny here.

patterns

Mother Nature has a way
of doing magic every day

Her snow has gone and left behind
patterns that just blow my mind

Her waves of winter sculpt the grass
Her icy breath etches glass

Staight gray, trunks lining the sky
straigh gray V of geese honks by

Nature keeper, magicain, maker of art
Mother Nature's creations sing in my heart

Pups love poetry!

neighbours

When I'm at the cabin, I've got lots of neighbours. They aren't all humans and dogs.

This is one of my neighbours. This deer sometimes sleeps in the yard. I've seen it having dinner in the yard too. It leaves behind small pointy hoof prints and little chocolate covered raisins. I haven't tried one yet, but I plan to.

Sometimes there are a group of deer and they have a quiet, conservative party in the yard. When I decide the party is over, I bark ferociously and they scatter. I wouldn't say I'm a party pooper, I just don't want things getting out of hand with the deer.

We had a party at our house last night. Lola the Goddess was here and Uncle Smudge. The kids came over too. The humans ate food, talked and had wine. While they were being bored, the rest of us pups, wrestled, played chase, fetch, tug-of-war, and chewed on toys. We had naps and went outside. Here is the score on party animals: humans-0, dogs-1.
