There were some fish swimming in the lake but I didn't get one. The bugs were bad. I had on some very fragrant dog friendly insect repellent so my poor naked belly was spared. We made it to the parking lot before the thunderstorm let loose with it's wicked light show.

There ain't no goats, there ain't no goats....

This falls is near the lake. The lake is where we had the picnic. The picnic is always good.

Family, The vacation

I've just returned from my vacation with the family. Although there was a shortage of pups, there was no shortage of fun.

The benefit of being the sole pooch is, you guessed it, all the belly rubs are mine.

As with most family time, we start with the food---

Then, for my amusement, the folks arranged a festive parade. Short but sweet, the procession went past two by two. Perfect for me. You'll recall my college education where I learned to count.

When is the last time you started off your summer vaction with a parade?
